Budget/Policy Update on the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. The Senate Committee on Finance gathered to discuss select Article I agencies. Texas Autism. The Texas Autism Council gathered to discuss three HHSC LAR items of interest to the council: 1) Maintain Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Services for Children with Disabilities; 2) Provide Intensive Behavioral Intervention for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; and 3) Provide Transition to the Community and Reduce Community Program Interest Lists. Texas STAR Kids. The STAR Kids Managed Care Advisory Committee gathered for their quarterly meeting to: 1) Receive a report on the cost-effectiveness of HIPP; 2) Receive a presentation on the required quarterly therapy report; 3) Receive an update on the SK-SAI workgroup which is considering breaking out CFC as a separate module in the report; 4) Receive a report on the HHSC data requested by the committee; 5) Adopt the report and recommendations from this committee to the Executive Commissioner; and 6) Receive an update on the pay-for-quality measures to be used in STAR Kids.
