- HHSC: Council on Consumer Direction: The Council met to discuss a number of topics, including: 1) Interaction with IDD Redesign Advisory Committee; 2) the letter that was drafted to be sent to the Executive Commissioner regarding consumer directed services; and 3) the implementation of EVV under the 21st Century CURES Act.
- HHSC: Mental Health Condition and Substance Use Disorder Parity Workgroup: The workgroup: 1) received presentations related to the federal parity requirements and the state requirements; 2) heard the Texas Department of Insurance and the HHSC ombudsman office report on their progress in implementing H.B. 10; and 3) heard workgroup updates from Subcommittees on Compliance, Complaints, and Education and Awareness.
