The Texas Diabetes Council addresses issues affecting people with diabetes in Texas and advises the Texas Legislature on legislation that is needed to develop and maintain a statewide system of quality education services for all people with diabetes and health care professionals who offer diabetes treatment and education. Best Practices in Clinical Standardization: The Together to Goal Program Kathy Giamano, Norvo Nordisk made the presentation. She stated that there was a request for information about the work they had done in the Together to Goal Program. The focus is for a quality care program. They cannot share the proprietary information but can share the website information.
