Policy Council for Children and Families works to improve the coordination, quality, efficiency, and outcomes of services provided to children with disabilities and their families through the state's health, education, and human services systems. Welcome and introductions. The meeting was convened by Margaret McLean, Vice Chair. Review and approval of meeting minutes from February 5, 2019. The minutes were approved as written. Council recruitment. Mr. Blanton stated that they had hoped to have new members by the time of this meeting. There have been many good applicants, including professionals and family members. Recommendations are sent to the executive leadership for final appointment. There should be a good group of new members for the August meeting. They hope to have announcements within the next month or so. There will also be a new staff member to help the Council.
