Hospital Rule Proposals Hearing
High Cost Drugs Rule Hearing. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) conducted a public rule hearing on December 3, 2024 9:00 a.m. to receive public comments on a proposed rule change that allows for hospitals to be reimbursed for High-Cost Clinician Administered Drugs and Biologics (HCCADs), long-acting reversible contraceptives and Donor Human Milk Services.
The Executive Commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) proposes amendments to §355.8052, concerning Inpatient Hospital Reimbursement, and §355.8061, concerning Outpatient Hospital Reimbursement.
Proposal. The effective date of the proposed updates to the rules presented during the rule hearing is as follows:
